Survival 101: The Jellyfish

Jellyfish may seem like funny little blobs, but their history (and future) are far from boring. Jellyfish consist of 95% water, do not have a brain or spine, and primarily rely on the currents of the ocean to move around; yet, there are over 1,000 species of jellyfish, some of which have been around for 500 million years (making them older than the dinosaurs). With ocean temperatures rising, many sea creatures are facing extinction, but somehow, these medusae just keep on swimming. To learn more, watch the video below:
